Support for The Ukrainian Parliamentary Commission on Human Rights

Support for The Ukrainian Parliamentary Commission on Human Rights is Innocence Found’s core mission.

Led by Dmytro Lubinets, the Parliamentary Commission on Human Rights has been appointed by the Ukrainian government to be a fully-independent entity tasked with finding and returning kidnapped and missing Ukrainian children and POW’s.

The Ukrainian Parliamentary Commission on Human Rights is the only entity authorized to conduct the intensely sensitive work of locating abducted Ukrainian children, negotiating for their release, and undertaking the logistics of their return. For this reason, Innocence Found has been purpose-built to support and empower the Commission’s all-important work.

The Commission employs teams of analysts who monitor social media channels as well as other platforms of open-source intelligence to track down kidnapped children. Negotiations and methods of retrieval cannot be described but the increase in the Commission’s resources helps them to bring more children back into the arms of their families.

Innocence Found is laser-focused on these goals.

Games & Comics For Ukraine

With English now an official language in Ukraine, English-language materials are urgently needed. After discussions with Ukrainian educators across the country, we have discovered that the need for items such as games, comics, and other educational materials is profound.

Games and comics provide a context-based method of English instruction that is often hard to get in traditional sources. But just as important, games and comics also provide needed diversion and entertainment to Ukrainian children, teenagers, and recovering soldiers.

In partnership with Innocence Found, “Games & Comics For Ukraine” is currently shipping nearly 10 tons of material donated by U.S. and U.K. publishers, distributors, and retailers. Within 120 days, we will have delivered a total of almost 20 tons of material to more than 430 Ukrainian schools and youth centers. Future deliveries will include shelters and rehab centers.
